Data collected from the R/V Fulmar were recorded in notebooks and are now archived at the U.S. Geological Survey\u2019s Great Lakes Science Center. Each lift included 1\u20137 gangs of linen gill nets. Each gang comprised 3\u20135 panels each having a length of 155 m, a height of 1.5 m, and a (stretch-)mesh size of either 60, 64, 67, 70, or 76 mm. The digitization of the Fulmar data notebooks was started in the late 1990s and finished in this study.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5e9f635482cefae35a128c38.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9JMLWER", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5e9f635482cefae35a128c38", "keyword": ["biota", "freshwater ecosystems", "fishery management", "Fishing with Benthic Fixed Gear", "fish", "habitats", "USGS:5e9f635482cefae35a128c38", "Lake Michigan", "fisheries biology", "Cisco", "benthic ecosystems", "inland fishery resources", "Gill net"], "modified": "2025-01-24T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-88.0500, 41.6000, -84.6700, 46.1000", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "1930-1932 Gill net data from Lake Michigan"}
