The sensors were evaluated in laboratory conditions to evaluate the distance accuracy of the sensor over the manufacturer\u2019s specified operating temperatures and distance to water ranges. Laboratory results were compared to the manufacturer\u2019s accuracy specification of \u00b10.007 foot (ft) and the USGS Office of Surface Water (OSW) policy requirement that water level sensors have a measurement uncertainty of no more than 0.01 ft or 0.20 percent of the indicated reading. In the temperature chamber test, both sensors were within the manufacturer\u2019s specification for more than 90 percent of the data points collected over a temperature range of \u201340 to +60 \u00b0C at a fixed distance of 8 ft. This test was performed with radar firmware version 1.09.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/F71C1VSR", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.59ce58cae4b05fe04cc05d2b.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_59ce58cae4b05fe04cc05d2b", "keyword": ["Surface Water", "John C.
