That change is the only change in any precincts, in any wards, from the immediately preceding precinct set (which was approved in 2022).  The number of precincts therefore increased from 1290 in the previous dataset, to 1291 in this dataset.  All other precincts in all other wards retained their geometries and numbering.  \n\nThe first election to which this dataset applies was the Feb 28, 2023 Municipal General election.
