The purpose of the data is to support research on the relationships between Medicaid utilization, behavioral health services, patient-centered outcomes, and child welfare outcomes. Of particular interest are outcomes for families that may have substance use disorders, like opioid use disorder.\n\n\nThe CCOULD project worked with Kentucky and Florida (specifically the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services) to produce linked, state-level data to support research on the relationships among Medicaid utilization, behavioral health services, patient-centered outcomes, and child welfare outcomes.
