The ranges were hand drawn on 1:250,000 scale USGS maps and then digitized in ArcInfo. For a larger range mapping project and range continuity, input from DFG and BLM wildlife biologists in northern California, southern Oregon, and western Nevada was collected using the same methods; hand drawn ranges on 1:250,000 scale USGS maps and then digitized in ArcInfo.  In 2005, Hall modified the current range that is represented in this dataset.      Number of records:  There are 9 polygons representing current or historic range.
