The treatments were constructed between 2012 and 2018. Topographic surfaces from 2011, 2020, and 2022 were used to simulate hydraulic conditions before and after restoration treatments were built. Three different flow conditions (discharge and downstream water surface elevation) from the 2020 spring snowmelt hydrograph were simulated on a 5-meter model grid with the topographic surfaces for 2011, 2020, and 2022, producing a total of nine unique simulations. Flow depths, depth-averaged velocity, and area associated with each model grid node were exported for each simulation.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P908KXMN", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.66b122ebd34e5d7d928b1019.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_66b122ebd34e5d7d928b1019", "keyword": ["biota", "Pacific Northwest", "inlandWaters", "aquatic biology", "United States", "ecology", "mathematical modeling", "climatologyMeteorologyAtmosphere", "location", "multibeam sonar", "Idaho", "sediment transport", "time series datasets", "study areas", "North America", "surface-water level", "Kootenai", "stream-gage measurement", "ecosystem functions", "Land", "Lower Kootenai", "climate change", "elevation", "hydraulic engineering", "Boundary", "sedimentation", "environment", "USGS:66b122ebd34e5d7d928b1019", "geospatial analysis", "endangered species", "biological and physical processes", "food web", "lidar", "geoscientificInformation", "modeling", "bathymetry", "acoustic doppler current profiling", "Bonners Ferry", "digital elevation models"], "modified": "2025-09-09T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-116.37131, 48.69187, -116.19278, 48.71362", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Model archive for two-dimensional hydraulic model simulations before and after restoration work, Kootenai River, Idaho, 2011-2022"}
