It is important to know whether major mining districts in the Northern Nevada Gold Province are underlain by rocks of the Archean Wyoming craton, which are known to contain orogenic gold deposits, or by accreted rocks of the Paleoproterozoic Mojave province. It is also important to know the location and orientation of the Archean/Proterozoic suture zone between these provinces as well as major basement structures within these terranes because they may influence subsequent patterns of sedimentation, deformation, magmatism, and hydrothermal activity. This study was funded by the U.S. Geological Survey's Mineral Resources Program in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5a1df76fe4b09fc93dd7c64d.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/F7WQ02RM", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5a1df76fe4b09fc93dd7c64d", "keyword": ["Utah", "Lakeside Mountains", "regional fluid flow", "suture zone", "Stansbury Mountains", "CGGSC", "USGS:5a1df76fe4b09fc93dd7c64d", "Tooele", "Great Basin", "apparent resistivity", "magmatism", "Mojave province", "Utah Test and Training Range", "Uinta National Forest", "MRP", "sedimentation", "Simpson Mountains", "Onaqui Mountains", "Paleoproterozoic", "impedance", "aquifer", "Magnetic field (earth)", "Wasatch National Forest", "Paleozoic", "geoscientificinformation", "Northern Nevada Gold Province", "Cedar Mountains", "impedance phase", "Mineral Resources Program", "Sheeprock Mountains", "Magnetic surveying", "Crustal Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center", "Skull Valley Reservation", "sounding", "GPS measurement", "magnetotelluric", "Tooele County", "Electromagnetic surveying", "localized mineralization", "Tooele Army Depot", "Great Salt Lake", "tipper", "Gold Mining", "MT", "Great Salt Lake Desert", "deformation", "Vernon", "Gold Deposits", "Archean Wyoming craton", "impedance strike", "Archean", "hydrothermal activity", "Dugway Proving Grounds", "Neoproterozoic", "Geophysics", "Lakeside Valley", "Skull Valley", "Proterozoic"], "modified": "2020-09-29T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-112.846549167, 40.452943333, -112.846549167, 40.452943333", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Magnetotelluric sounding data, station 5, East-Central Tooele County, Utah, 2003"}
