The quality of such analysis was evaluated by the Q-index (Lorbacher et al., Journal of Geophysical Research, 2006), and I-index (Chu and Fan, Journal of Oceanography, 2017). These indices were also presented for each profile. The dataset contains 1,202,061 sets (446,811 from CTD and 755,086 from XBT) of thermal parameters as well as quality indices.
