These data were collected to document and monitor effects of high lake levels, including shoreline erosion, inundation, and property damage in the vicinity of Chimney Bluffs State Park, New York. This data release includes images tagged with locations determined from the UAS GPS; tables with updated estimates of camera positions and attitudes based on the photogrammetric reconstruction; tables listing locations of the base stations, ground control points, and transect points; geolocated, RGB-colored point clouds; orthomosaic images; and digital elevation models for each of the survey regions. Collection of these data was supported by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State of New York Departments of State and Environmental Conservation, and the USGS Coastal and Marine Geology Program and was conducted under USGS field activity number 2017-042-FA.\n      ", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5b28643de4b0592076260e53.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9W81QEZ", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5b28643de4b0592076260e53", "keyword": ["navigation", "inlandWaters", "Huron, NY", "lakeshore", "Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center", "location", "New York State Department of Environmental Conservation", "navigational data", "Coastal and Marine Geology Program", "ground control points", "Great Lakes", "Chimney Bluffs State Park", "Federal Emergency Management Agency", "U.S. Geological Survey", "WHCMSC", "USA", "elevation", "USGS", "FEMA", "CMGP", "GPS", "Chimney Bluffs", "field activity number 2017-042-FA", "Lake Ontario", "Spectra Precision SP80", "Carlson SurvCE", "low-altitude aerial imagery", "State of New York Department of State", "Global Positioning System", "New York", "USGS:5b28643de4b0592076260e53", "transect points"], "modified": "2020-08-06T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-76.912025, 43.287241, -76.906199, 43.290785 ", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Ground control point and transect locations associated with images collected during unmanned aerial systems (UAS) flights over The Lake Ontario shoreline in the vicinity of Chimney Bluffs, New York in July 2017"}
