Test sequence N used an upwind,\nrigid turbine with a 0\u00b0 cone angle. The wind speed was 15 m/s, and the yaw angle was 0\u00b0\nthroughout the sequence. The rotor rotated at 72 RPM. Blade and probe pressure measurements\nwere collected. The teeter dampers were replaced with rigid links, and these two channels were\nflagged as not applicable by setting the measured values in the data file to \u201399999.99 Nm. The\nteeter link load cell was pre-tensioned to 40,000 N.\n\nSinusoidal angle-of-attack histories were designed to emulate 2-D S809 dynamic data obtained at\nthe Ohio State University (OSU) wind tunnel (Reuss Ramsey et al. 1995) and the 1P yawed flow\nangle-of-attack variations the turbine could be expected to encounter in routine operation. The\nreduced frequency (K), mean angle of attack (\u03b1m), and oscillation amplitude (\u03b1\u03c9) were computed\nfor each of the five primary span locations. The file lengths varied according to the time required\nto complete 40 oscillations at the specified frequency. The file name convention used the\nsequence designation N, followed by two digits for the span location (30, 47, 63, 80, or 95),\nfollowed by two digits representing the condition specified in the test matrix, followed by the\nrepetition digit. Due to time constraints, most of the test conditions corresponding to the 63%\nspan location were eliminated.  Test points with a\nstatic pitch angle of 3\u00b0 were collected throughout the sequence to ascertain instrumentation fidelity.\n\n**Data Details**\n\nFile naming information can be found in the attached Word document \"Sequence N Filename Key\", copied from the Phase VI Test Report.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://a2e.energy.gov/data/uae6/uae6.z13.00", "description": "Main dataset landing page with options to request/download", "format": "00", "mediaType": "application/octet-stream", "title": "uae6/uae6.z13.00"}], "identifier": "https://data.openei.org/submissions/4209", "issued": "2018-11-29T00:00:00Z", "keyword": ["a2e", "atmosphere to electrons", "wind", "weto", "eere", "uae6", "Unsteady Aerodynamics Experiment Phase VI NREL-NASA Ames Wind Tunnel Experiment", "UAE6", "Wind Tunnel Tests Data", "Sequence N", "Raw Data", "z13", "00"], "landingPage": "https://a2e.energy.gov/data/uae6/uae6.z13.00", "license": "https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/", "modified": "2020-03-27T00:00:00Z", "programCode": ["019:010"], "projectNumber": "67025", "projectTitle": "Wind Data Hub", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "Wind Energy Technologies Office (WETO)"}, "title": "UAE6 - Wind Tunnel Tests Data - UAE6 - Sequence N - Raw Data"}
