Water and sediment samples were collected at nine locations, from Callicoon, New York, at the upstream end, to Burlington, New Jersey, at the downstream end. Smallmouth bass (Micropterus dolomieu), white sucker (Catostomus commersonii), and eastern elliptio (Elliptio complanata) were sampled at a subset of locations to assess biological uptake of microplastics. Sampling and analysis methods are described in the Processing Steps section of the metadata. Samples were collected July 2018 - March 2019.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P9QVIVX3", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5f57e8b482cea1f95a61a7c1.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5f57e8b482cea1f95a61a7c1", "keyword": ["biota", "inlandWaters", "USGS:5f57e8b482cea1f95a61a7c1", "contamination and pollution", "surface water quality", "microplastics"], "modified": "2020-11-05T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-75.3607, 40.0444, -74.6082, 41.9227", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Microplastics in the Delaware River, 2018"}
