A literature and data search revealed that not all of the alluvial basin boundaries existed in a digital format that could be imported and used in a Geographic Information System (GIS). Available resources such as georeferenced report figures, digital elevation models (DEMs), principal aquifer datasets, surficial geology datasets, and structural features, such as faults, were used to aid in defining the alluvial basin boundaries. An Esri ArcGIS geodatabase was created to house the final digitized dataset of the following alluvial basins: San Luis, Espa\u00f1ola, Middle Rio Grande, Socorro, La Jencia, San Marcial, Engle, Palomas, Mesilla/Conejos-Medanos, Jornada del Muerto, San Agustin, Alamosa Creek, and Tularosa-Hueco.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.5a21c290e4b03852baf47443.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/F7N58KBS", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_5a21c290e4b03852baf47443", "keyword": ["inlandWaters", "San Marcial", "Palomas", "South Fork", "Grants", "Center", "Chama", "Rio Grande County", "Costilla County", "Horizon", "Mora County", "Cibola County", "Ciudad Ju\u00e1rez", "Hudspeth County", "San Juan County", "New Mexico", "environment", "geography", "Dona Ana County", "geospatial analysis", "Hatch", "Chihuahua", "Espa\u00f1ola", "Abiquiu Reservoir", "La Jencia", "Bernalillo County", "Rio Salado", "Heron Reservoir", "Colorado", "Del Norte", "Ju\u00e1rez", "Las Cruces", "Saguache Creek", "Elephant Butte", "Bonanza", "Mineral County", "water cycle", "Alamosa", "Conejos County", "Truth or Consequences", "McKinley County", "Guadalupe", "San Agustin", "El Paso", "San Luis", "San Augustin", "water resources", "Taos County", "Rio San Jose", "Creede", "groundwater flow", "Mexico", "geographic information systems", "Esperanza", "hydrologic processes", "Alamosa County", "Taos", "San Isidro", "United States of America", "Buenaventura", "geospatial datasets", "Texas", "Valencia County", "Archuleta County", "Sierra County", "aerial photography", "Monte Vista", "Rio Chama", "Tularosa-Hueco", "Rio Rancho", "Engle", "Red River", "image analysis", "Los Alamos County", "USGS:5a21c290e4b03852baf47443", "Jornada del Muerto", "San Elizario", "Socorro", "Albuquerque", "Sandoval County", "Anthony", "Socorro County", "Alamosa River", "groundwater", "Santa Fe County", "Catron County", "Praxedis G.
