The lines are designated TRW-1 through TRW-8. This release includes original digital field data, including support metadata records (Navigation, Observer Notes, Survey Notes, maps, etc.).   Shapefiles of the geophone stations/shotpoints and seismic lines are part of this release to help document the location of the surveys.  Also included are the aforementioned MCS lines in SEG-Y format, reprocessed by the USGS in 1993-1994 to the point of unmigrated and migrated time using (at that time) state-of-the-art seismic processing software and included as part of a 1994 USGS evaluation of the Oil and Gas Resources of NOSR-2, commissioned by DOE.  Links to publications resulting from the two resource evaluation studies mentioned above are given below.  The SEG-Y format seismic files and associated support data contain all the information necessary to reprocess the lines from the field data or to load the processed data onto a seismic interpretation workstation.
