The study reach begins at river mile 61.1, about 0.6 -mi (1 \u2013km) above the confluence of the Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers and ends at river mile 88.1 at the upstream boundary of the Bright Angel Rapid (Phantom Ranch boat beach). Channel bathymetry was mapped using multibeam and singlebeam echosounders, subaerial topography was mapped using ground-based total-stations, and bed-sediment grain-size data were collected using an underwater digital microscope system. These data were combined to produce digital elevation models, spatially variable estimates of digital elevation model uncertainty, georeferenced grain-size data, and bed-sediment distribution maps. These data were collected by the Southwest Biological Science Center, Grand Canyon Monitoring and Science Center as a component of a larger effort to monitor the status and trends of sand storage along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park. This dataset is a 1-meter resolution digital elevation model.", "distribution": [{"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "accessURL": "https://doi.org/10.5066/P95BA2Y1", "description": "Landing page for access to the data", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "application/http", "title": "Digital Data"}, {"@type": "dcat:Distribution", "description": "The metadata original format", "downloadURL": "https://data.usgs.gov/datacatalog/metadata/USGS.678a7d53d34e76fa5e3d643a.xml", "format": "XML", "mediaType": "text/xml", "title": "Original Metadata"}], "identifier": "http://datainventory.doi.gov/id/dataset/USGS_678a7d53d34e76fa5e3d643a", "keyword": ["inlandWaters", "imageryBaseMapsEarthCover", "hillshade", "mathematical modeling", "multibeam sonar", "Paria River", "sediment transport", "Arizona", "topographic maps", "elevation", "topography", "remote sensing", "Grand Canyon", "USGS:678a7d53d34e76fa5e3d643a", "sedimentation", "environment", "Diamond Creek", "estuarine processes", "data release", "Grand Canyon National Park", "Little Colorado River", "Lees Ferry", "grain-size analysis", "Colorado River", "adaptive management", "bathymetry measurement", "bathymetry", "uncertainty model", "field inventory and monitoring", "Marble Canyon", "digital elevation models"], "modified": "2025-01-21T00:00:00Z", "publisher": {"@type": "org:Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "spatial": "-112.0909, 36.0431, -111.7987, 36.2027", "theme": ["geospatial"], "title": "Digital Elevation Model"}
