    This data package contains results from visual resources inventories conducted at various National Park Service (NPS) units as a part of the National Park Service Enjoy the View program, which collects geospatial data, digital photographs, descriptions of the viewpoint and the viewed landscape, and ratings for scenic quality and view importance.

    This data package contains data from scenic quality and view importance assessments conducted by NPS staff and contractors between 2013-11-13 and 2026-02-06 using standardized methodologies to evaluate the visual resources of the parks. The data within this package includes detailed descriptions of viewpoints, landscape elements, and ratings based on various factors affecting scenic quality and view importance, and are intended to be used with separate geographic location and photographic data available to internal staff.

    Data from the Enjoy the View program support park planning, resource condition assessments, and visual resource management. The package is updated periodically and may not include the most recent inventory results.
