    An estimate of tonnage transported on navigational channels of the United States. Estimates for the most recent month are based on lock performance management data and will be superseded by actual data as it becomes available. The Waterborne Commerce Statistics Center estimates tonnage based on tonnage reported through the lock performance monitoring system.
