    Oregon's Weekly Reportable Disease Data

    Preliminary data on case counts for selected reportable diseases in Oregon. Oregon physicians, other health care providers and laboratorians are required to report diagnoses of certain diseases and conditions to local health departments (OAR Chapter 333, Division 18). People who were diagnosed with a reportable disease or condition are referred to as 'cases.' Reporting enables appropriate public health follow-up to prevent spread and provides a better understanding of disease patterns in Oregon.
