HHS-2018-ACF-ACYF-CA-1383

The purpose of this FOA is to develop and disseminate knowledge on utilizing text and chat-based capabilities for child maltreatment reporting and resource sharing. The award amount is up to $1,000,000 for a single 2-year project and budget period.

HHS-2018-ACF-ACYF-CT-1350

This FOA will establish a National Child Welfare Workforce Institute (NCWWI) to advance federal priorities to improve safety, permanency, and well-being by building the capacity of child welfare professionals and improving the organizations that recruit, train, supervise, manage, and retain them. The first-year award amount is up to $4,800,000 with a project period of up to 5 years.

The purpose of this FOA is to fund cooperative agreements that support the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies for strengthening families, including those at high risk for child maltreatment, and to enhance the capacity of communities in addressing the well-being of families to prevent maltreatment and entry into foster care. The first-year award amount is up to $550,000 with a project period of up to 5 years.

The purpose of this FOA is to award cooperative agreement grants to regional partnerships that provide, through interagency collaboration and integration of programs, activities and services designed to increase well-being, improve permanency, and enhance the safety of children who are in or at risk of being placed in out-of-home care as a result of a parent's or caregiver's substance use. The award amount is up to $1,900,000 for a single 3-year project and budget period.

The purpose of this FOA is to solicit proposals for one-time grants to Tribes, Tribal organizations, or Tribal consortia that are seeking to develop a plan to implement title IV-E foster care; adoption assistance; and, at Tribal option, guardianship assistance programs. The award amount is up to $300,000 for a single 2-year project and budget period.

HHS-2018-ACF-ACYF-CO-1360

The purpose of this FOA is to award up to five 5-year cooperative agreements to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies that focus on better adoption outcomes. This can be done by improving basic social work as well as legal and judicial practice to eliminate systemic barriers to adoption or to prevent entry into foster care and other forms of permanency. The first-year award amount is up to $1,610,000 with a project period of up to 5 years.

The purpose of this FOA is to solicit proposals for grants to Tribal governments or to Tribal consortia to improve the handling of American Indian and Native Alaskan child welfare cases by Tribal courts. The first-year award amount is up to $150,000 with a project period of up to 5 years.
